CONTEST RULES
There are three rules to the 2012 Look Swimwear Contest. First, you must be a woman. Sorry guys, not the LOOK we’re trying to achieve. The second rule is only one entry per model. The third goes without saying, but we’ll say it anyway. You MUST wear a Look Swimwear Bikini. Honestly, why would you wear a bikini that wasn’t? Unless you’re Amish, and in that case you don’t have a computer, electricity, or the ability to read this.

HOW DOES THE CONTEST WORK?
Voting is based on the number of “Likes” a contestant receives from our fans on their Facebook pic in the Look Swimwear Bikini Contest Photo Album.
There are four contestants per round and each round lasts a week. The contestant with the most “Likes” at the end of the week will win the round and advance to the Quarter Finals. Winners of the Quarter Finals move on to the Semi-Finals. Winners of the Semi-Finals move on to the Finals, where one contestant will be crowned Ms. Look Swimwear.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO ENTER?
Well, to start you need a Look Swimwear bikini and someone to shoot. Then, you’ll need to send them in to us. It’s that simple. HOW DO I SUBMIT MY PHOTOS?
Either you or your photographer can submit your shots for your submission. When you are ready to submit your photos please email contest@lookswimwear.com for more info.
HOW MANY PICS DO I NEED TO SEND IN?
Please, submit 10 or more shots. We will use 4 for the submission. Images should be no smaller than 1000X1500 pixels (8”x12” @150dpi). Vertical images are preferred as the submissions will all be vertical 8”x12” ratio. Please, email your submission to contest@lookswimwear.com. Please, break emails into 5mb each.
WHAT CAN I WIN?
Winners of each round move onto the Quarter Finals where the winners will receive $100 gift certificate, and a spot in the Semi-Finals. Winners of the Semi-Finals will receive $150 cash, and a spot in the Finals. The Finals winner will receive $1000.00 CASH and a shoot for the 2013 Look Swimwear Catalogue. The winner will be featured on the home page of Lookswimwear.com, receive a centerfold on our site, and become an Official Look Swimwear Model.
WHAT ARE THE RULES?
Models must be over 18 years of age. Contestants must be wearing Look Swimwear Bikinis, no exceptions. Submission of photos wearing any other swimwear will be void and deleted immediately. Professional & Semi-Pro models and Photographers are allowed to enter the contest. Images submitted for the bikini contest will be used for, and only for the Look Swimwear bikini contest including its promotion. By submitting pictures and/or other material to Look Swimwear you acknowledge and accept that you are the legal owner of the rights to said images. Any and all legal responsibilities will lye with said submitting persons. Look Swimwear reserves the right to reject submissions without further explanation. Pictures that are not used will be deleted. Professional & Semi-Pro models and Photographers are allowed to enter the contest.
WHAT KIND OF PHOTOS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Photos should be sexy, seductive, hot, steamy, anything that is going to raise temperature and blood pressure. This is a bikini contest. We want confident sexy entrants that represent what our company is all about. Please, be sure to shoot the front and back of the suits. The back is just as important as the front, so don’t forget to get at least 3-4 shots of the back? We would also strongly suggest shooting at least 10 shots wet. This is swimwear, and obviously swimwear can and will get wet. Playboy style photos are accepted with the condition that the suit is tied into the shot and they are tastefully shot. Any material that is deemed to be X-rated will not be accepted.
IN DOOR vs OUT DOOR
Outdoor and indoor shots are accepted. Outdoor shots at the beach or pool are preferred, but not mandatory. If you choose to shoot indoor, please shoot indoor locations, not studio. Example of indoor locations would be interiors of homes, warehouse, office, ect. Backdrop, manufactured studio shots will not be accepted.
RETOUCH OR RAW?
Please complete final retouching all of the photos in your submission to your liking. We will not do retouching on any submissions. Note if the submission is in need of major retouching this will invalidate the entry.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SEND IN MY SHOTS?
You will receive a confirmation when we receive your shots in the form of an email. If your submission is accepted, you will receive notification 2 weeks prior to your round’s commencement. We do not have prior knowledge before this 2 weeks period so please do not email us to re-confirm we got the shots or to ask when you will be entered into the contest.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I FIND OUT I’M IN THE NEXT ROUND?
You will receive a horizontal and vertical web banner to help you promote your submission, along with a video that you can post on your social sites or your own website. We will be sending an email asking for a short paragraph with where you took your pictures, what suit and sizes you wore, and something about the bikini and if you endorse Look Swimwear Bikinis. If you shot with a photographer, please include their email and link so we can give due credit.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I WIN?
We will contact you so we can send you your prize. For cash awards we will obtain your mailing address to send you a check.
